UVU Baseball Camps

2011 Winter Baseball Camps (register below)

Winter Progressive Hitting
Dates: Weeks of Nov. 28 & Dec. 5, Dec. 12 & 19
Three days per week (Mon-Wed)
Grades 3-12 (open to any and all entrants)
Cost: $125

The progressive hitting camps allow kids the opportunity to work in a small group and receive more personalized instruction with one of the Utah Valley Baseball staff. Groups are limited to four kids. The camp is broken up into 4 different segments, once a week for one-hour sessions.

Winter Progressive Pitching
Dates: Weeks of Nov. 28 & Dec. 5, Dec. 12 & 19

In the progressive pitching camp, players will work directly with UVU associate head coach and pitching coach Dave Carter. The players will have the opportunity to learn about the mechanics of pitching and receive drill work to help refine their skills. The camp will be broken up into four different segments and also receive instruction on arm care and strengthening exercises.

Winter Hitting Camps ALL HIGH SCHOOL SESSIONS ARE FULL
Dates: Session 2 (Dec 9-10) & Session 3 (Dec. 21-22)
Ages: Grades 3-12 (open to any and all entrants)
Cost: $75 (Grades 9-12) & $45 (Grades 3-8)
Maximum of 16 kids per session (16 youth and 16 high school)

The Winter Hitting camps give kids a great opportunity to work with the UVU staff including head coach Eric Madsen. Learn the UVU hitting philosophy and have a chance to learn the drills that UVU uses with its own hitters. This camp allows players to chance to hone their swing throughout the winter months and get a head start on the spring.

Winter Pitching Camp
Dates: Dec. 16-17
Ages: Grades 3-12 (open to any and all entrants)
Cost: $75 (Grades 9-12) & $45 (Grades 3-8)
Maximum of 16 kids per session (16 youth and 16 high school)

Dec. 16 (4-6pm) & Dec. 17 (9:30-11:30am)

High School

The Utah Valley Winter Pitching Camp gives pitchers the chance to work with both head coach Eric Madsen and associate head coach Dave Carter. This camp gives players insight into the mechanics of the delivery, how to throw different pitches and arm care. Participants will gain insight into the off-season strength and conditioning program used by the UVU pitching staff. Campers will also throw live bullpens and have those sessions evaluated personally and go over the session with a coaching staff member.

Team Camps

Cost: $10 per kid (at least 8 kids) maximum of 12 kids

Have the opportunity to bring your team over and get an early start headed into the spring season. You will have use of our stadium Brent Brown Ballpark and also have the chance to have your kids learn hitting and or pitching from the Utah Valley coaching staff. Your team will have a personalized session for an hour with our staff and also have the chance for coaches to learn some new drills or new ways to teach certain mechanics of the game. We know how limited indoor space is during the winter months and would like to give more teams opportunity to keep their kids improving and helping as a staff in that matter.
